Junior playing golf tour build to tee off

It is Canada's only national junior tour run exclusively by Canadian PGA Professionals and the 'Road to College Golf' for aspiring young players, has increased its slate of events to 62 across the country. South Delta native Murray Poje is the founder junior golf tournaments and executive director of the MJT. He's also listed on the tour's website as the head golf professional at Tsawwassen Springs Golf Course. The tour's 2011 schedule of tournaments and clinics includes 14 stops in this province, the first of which is at Richmond's Quilchena Golf Club tomorrow and Friday. Quilchena is also the host of the Canadian Junior Girls Championship later this year, making the MJT stop an ideal practice opportunity.
